Yeah, but what about junk e-mail? Many 'offers' on the web come with strings
attached.
AllAdvantage.com is committed to your privacy. They will not sell,
rent or give any identifiable personal information regarding their members
to any third party. They state that you will never receive any unwanted email or postal mail
as a result of information you have given to AllAdvantage.com.
AllAdvantage company has found a way to parlay privacy concerns into a
business. Jim Jorgensen, a cofounder of the Discovery Zone play centers, helped
create AllAdvantage.com, the first pay-to-surf Web company. It pays members
50 cents an hour for 15 hours, plus 5 to 10 cents per hour for the amount of time
anyone they refer activates their viewbars. In exchange, AllAdvantage
promises to safeguard all the data it collects. Jorgensen even hired Ray
Everett-Church, a leading Internet privacy advocate, as chief privacy officer
to prove he is on the up and up.
