Julie
Wininger, the ‘Why Not!’ woman, is an award winning speaker with a knack
for getting the audience involved. Julie is an avid writer, photographer, and philosopher.
An animal lover, she lives on a small ranch in
Ramona, CA (north-east of San Diego) where she has dogs, cats, horses
and even chickens.
Pulling herself out of a bad
marriage, and a dead-end job, Julie spent time living in a cheap
apartment where the only thing bigger than the bills she paid were the
cockroaches that invaded each night. Knowing she needed to take action
to change her life, she worked two jobs and went back to school to get
her degree.
Julie earned a Bachelor degree
in Business and is now in progress of completing a Master’s in
Psychology. She has conducted numerous presentations to Fortune 500
company high level managers. Julie’s motivational message is universal,
her audiences range from pre-teens to adults.
In 1998 she founded the Y-Knot
company based on the idea adapted from Robert Kennedy:
‘Some see the problems of today and
ask ‘Why’
I look at the possibilities of a
better future and say, ‘Why Not!’
Her website,
www.SayWhyNot.com, and associated newsletter are a benefit to people
from over 40 countries worldwide.
Julie’s goal is to help
people reach their goals and overcome obstacles by utilizing the ‘Why
Not!’ philosophy. She brings life real-life stories to illustrate
practical information, insights and motivation to achieve your dreams –
no matter what the obstacles.
